Serenity Rooms are private studios that are part of Tranquility Guesthouse at Tranquility Hideaway Estate, which is a private, high-end rainforest retreat situated on 180 private acres and situated only 5 minutes to downtown Mission Beach. While the property is set up for large groups, we make individual listings available so everyone can experience Tranquility Hideaway and its immersion into nature.

The space

This studio is one of four elegant individual king bedrooms located beneath the main Guesthouse, featuring an alfresco shared kitchen and dining space, and shared bathrooms, ideal for couples, solo travellers, or small groups.

Designed for rest and reconnection, the Serenity Rooms are tucked away beneath the Tranquility Guesthouse and surrounded by lush rainforest. Each King bedroom is private and air-conditioned, while guests share a tranquil open-air gathering space that includes an undercover alfresco Kitchen, alfresco lounge/dining area and beautiful shared bathrooms. Made available between our larger bookings, it’s the perfect escape for the discerning couple or individual looking for that special get away.

The Estate has been carefully designed as a multi venue event and accommodation space with ample separation between all the areas it’s made up of so we can make it available to, groups couples and individuals alike to experience Tranquility Hideaway and its immersion into nature.

Guest access

The parking at the rear of the building gives you access directly to the property without the need to navigate stairs.

Please note that Tranquility Guesthouse is situated within the Tranquility Hideaway Estate, which consists of 180 acres of rainforest, parklands and multiple accommodation spaces. Unless you have booked the entire Estate Exclusively, there is a possibility that you may share the property with other guests, however Tranquility Guesthouse Retreat is exclusively yours. Other than that, your only neighbours will be Cassowaries, people you bring with you, and our property caretaker.

- Option to upgrade your stay by combining with the up stairs area of the Guesthouse
